Barmouth beach is 100m away, accessible by footpath from the site, over a pedestrian railway crossing (not used by traffic). The beach varies from vast sandy expanses to pebbles & lovely sand dunes.
You can walk along Barmouth promenade from the site right into town, and when the tide is in you can walk on the promenade. It takes 20-30 mins to walk.
During busy periods a land train runs from the centre of Barmouth prom to the end right opposite the site footpath.
Dogs are welcome here and Barmouth is a dog-lover's town.
The maximum number of dogs is 2 per unit, (or more at management's discretion. Please check in advance) They must be kept on a lead whilst on site and all fouling cleared up immediately.
There are some great walks nearby and your dog will love Barmouth beach, with a huge zone available year-round for walkies.
There are pubs in Barmouth ranging from the foodie establishments to the lively bars offering entertainment during busy periods. The nearest pub is the Min-y-Mor, on Barmouth promenade (about a 10 minute walk away).
There is no bar on site as we are very much a families and couples site, and we do not allow excess noise at night. Our shop does have an off-licence.
Open fires are not permitted. Small barbeques are allowed, using charcoal or similar fuel. If using disposable barbeques, please always use the bricks we provide to keep them off the grass, and ensure you have water handy to extinguish it (taps are located throughout the site).
No. Chinese lanterns are not allowed on the site.
