Did you know Shepherd Huts use to be used by shepherds to provide shelter while tending their flocks, as they are small and portal structures. Beginning their popularity during the 19th and early 20th centuries. However, now a days they are a popular form of glamping accommodation, as they offer a rustic and unique experience for those looking to get away.
We have two shepherds huts, which are located at different areas of our site, one is sited with a sea view and the other is handy for the path to the beach.
Staying in the huts is like going camping but the luxury of heating, electricity, a telly and beds!
Our Shepherd huts include;
- Dining table and chairs
- Cooking can be done on a barbeque* (which you will need to supply)
- TV
- Comfy double sofa bed
- Single bed & mattress
- You will need to bring your own bedding and pet beds/towels etc.
- Electric sockets and USB charge points
- Dog friendly – just bring their beds as they aren’t allowed on furniture
- Patio style doors
- Access is via 4 steps and we do not recommend the Shepherd’s huts for anyone with limited mobility for this reason.
- Parking available for one car per hut**
